Raffaele Annecchino

Raffaele is a CEO with a track record of leading the transformation of a global media and entertainment business by combining a global strategic vision with tailor-made strategies for each local market. As CEO of Paramount International, Networks, Streaming and Studio Raffaele has driven the growth of a large portfolio of consumer brands and streaming platforms, including MTV, NICK , Comedy Central and BET, among others, as well as the free-to-air networks Channel 5 in the UK, Network 10 in Australia , Telefe in Argentina and Chilevision in Chile, whilst aligning the business priorities of the company to promote and boost the international growth of the streaming platforms Paramount + and Pluto and formalizing a best-in-class leadership team. To do so, Raffaele has promoted the implementation of a global content strategy, the creation of production hubs and the acquisition of Studios in LATAM , Europe, Asia and Africa to serve global content hits across streaming, pay-tv and Free-to-air. In streaming, he has boosted the growth of streaming platforms Paramount+ and Pluto with a unique, innovative and more sustainable business model in the long term, which combines a number of B2B partnerships with leading partners such as Sky in several European markets, Telefónica in LATAM and Europe, Canal+ in France, Corus in Canada, Reliance in India or TVing in South Korea, while boosting the growth of the Direct-to-Consumer customer base. Prior to his role as CEO of Paramount International, Raffaele was President and Managing Director of Paramount International (previously ViacomCBS International) for Europe (excl UK), Africa, Middle East and Asia where he was responsible for Network, Streaming, Studios, Events and Recreation. He also held a series of corporate, sales and business development positions since he joined the company in 1997. Raffaele has served on the boards of Viacom 18 India, SBS Media in South Korea, and in the newly created streaming platform SKYSHOWTIME. Raffaele has an M.B.A from I.E Business School and he completed a Media Executive program at Harvard Business School and at INSEAD Fontainebleau.
