Leadership of a team responsible for ownership of all NFI Financial Systems, Collaborate with managment across finance, accounting, operations, and shared services to create roadmap and vision for the Finance Systems Strategy. Identify process improvements to support the Finance Strategy of NFI focused on Strategic Enablement; Continuous Improvement, and Risk Mitigation. Serve as ‘go-to’ person for problem resolution; interact extensively with users and operational staff members. Develop comprehensive financial and operational reports detailing key metrics; document all processes and create SOP databases. Supervise audit staff and finance support staff.

Managed web development activities for various e-commerce websites. Actively participated in several onsite client meetings; communicated with clients at all levels to gather requirements and define specifications. Created, updated, and maintained databases; developed stored procedures, and performed various validation tasks. Reengineered and improved programs; identified and resolved technical/ design issues, performed complex testing, and implemented bug fixes. Selected Contributions: Served as Onsite Consultant for Electronic Health Information during a 10-month assignment; provided technical support and development of proprietary software, RequesTrac. Spearheaded data integration project for ChartOne Medical Records procurement of Electronic Health Information (EHI); planned and coordinated all facets of project, ensuring timely completion. Led web development of Intranet site for Project Managers during onsite consulting engagement at Deloitte Consulting; created dynamic web pages based on project data, and developed forms and macros to streamline project manager tasks.

Developed front-end programs for the legacy VAX system; held full accountability for mapping and coordinating EDI transactions. Provided technical support and expertise; communicated with vendors, warehouse personnel, and office staff on computer support and EDI issues. Performed comprehensive Y2K testing of software code base. Selected Contributions: Played key role developing and implementing the entire Y2K test plan; conducted in-depth analysis and successfully updated software that realized no defects during 2000. Designed and implemented Barcode Payroll solution for piecework-based payroll system; developed program that produced bar code labels that were scanned into the payroll system for automated payment.

Responsibilities: Developed Setup for SureTrak Project Manager using InstallShield 5.5; developed add-ons to SureTrak Project Manager using Visual Basic 5.0 and Softbridge scripting language; features and bug fixes using Visual C++; developed and implemented test automation for Enterprise Client/Server Project Management software using Visual Test; developed libraries of automated code using Visual Basic and Visual Test; responsible for training of new employees in Visual Test; performance, load testing, validation using SQA Load Test, Purify, Quantify; object Modeling/UML using Rational Rose; and developed database validation tests of Oracle database using SQLplus.

Responsibilities: Created a student database using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic; Automated accounting tasks using Excel 97/VBA; Responsible for the coordination of computers for the district; transformed the district’s main office to a computerized environment; used Microsoft Excel and VBA to automate accounting services; wrote programs in C++ for food service; extensive work in Microsoft Word and Excel for daily office tasks; and used AS-400 in business applications.
