While I attended college to complete my Teaching degree, I worked with my Father on the construction of our Walgreen's Store. Using my previous construction knowledge of local Sub-contractors and my experience with construction draws, I worked closely with Sabin Construction during the bidding and construction phase, and approved the draws for my Father. I also managed my Father's office and paid the bills for the Trust. The time I spent with him was invaluable.

While at Britt-Britt, I was the one-girl office. I learned a great deal about bookkeeping/accounting, construction bidding & billing, bonding, and construction sequencing during my (almost) decade there, as well as learning to drive like Dale Earnhardt to get to bids on time. These skills have become invaluable to me as a Property Manager--as well as the contacts I made.

As my Grandmother and Proprietor, Radie Belle Krueger aged, I worked my way up from Bookkeeper to "hands on" Manager. I was in charge of the day to day operations of the Flower Shop and designed floral arrangements, as well. While managing the Shop, I was the Recording Secretary for the Indian River Florida Florists Association, and a member of the Amercian Business Women's Association.

I grew up on the Flower Farm and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I learned to drive on a tractor. I planted cuttings out in the fields with George Taylor's "contract" crews, carried the cut flowers in to be bunched, bunched flowers, packed flowers and even swept the packing house floors. Steven and Bonnie Ordway and I also had a field of gypsophilia (Babies Breath) that we cultivated, cut, and sold to to flower farm customers.

I coordinated and oversaw the restoration and rehabilitation of my Great-grandfather's 100 yr. old home here in Stuart, FL. My construction knowledge and contacts proved to be vital on this project. I also had to familiarize myself with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation, and successfully nominated this house for the National Register of Historic Places. It was officially placed on the Register on Feb. 14, 2002. We made this house our home in April, 2002, and continue to refinish furniture and maintain the yard, house, family artifacts & archives. We have participated in several Home Tours to benefit charities, and I have been a guest speaker at several professional functions. Recently, I prepared a lengthy PowerPoint presentation that encompasses the Krueger Family history and the restoration/rehabilitation of the house. The picturesque house and grounds have also been a movie set, and hosted weddings & political events.

I am a Florida State Certified Teacher, certified in the areas of Varying Exceptionalities K-12 and Middle Grades Math (thru Alg. 1.) I taught students with special needs at South Fork High School, and later became a Support Facilitator for "ESE" students at Jensen Beach High School. My main focus was working extensively with students and their parents in planning & achieving their educational, career, and life-long goals. I wrote and was approved for numerous Grants for my classroom. At SFHS, I was named "Teacher of the Week" in September, 2003. I was a member of the original "Positive Behavior Support" team at JBHS. I planned and participated in Staff trainings at JBHS. I wrote user guides for the ESE IEP programs to make them more user-friendly and trained/mentored fellow ESE teachers.

As I began to investigate a career in the education field, I took a position as an Aide to the Behavior Specialists, working out of the ESE office, and at all schools. Little did I know, this was the beginning of my new career. As an Aide, I observed student behavior and collected data. I then stayed behind in the classroom to assist the Teacher in implementing the behavior plan or system put in place by the Specialists. I was also assigned to assist in the transition of a new Teacher at Sandy Pines Psychiatric Hospital, a setting which I found intriguing.

I am in charge of the day to day operations of Krueger Property Management, LLC. I oversee 4 Commercial Properties and their maintenance. It is imperative that our tenants are satisfied, and I respond rapidly and address any inadequacies at our buildings. I keep the lines of communication open. I am also involved in the lease negotiations for our vacant properties.
