Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Pediatric Unit

 Provided assistance to a Nurse Midwife before, during and after childbirth in the home setting including setting up resuscitation equipment, medical and suture kits and barriers to help maintain cleanliness  Utilized knowledge of normal vital sign ranges for mothers and babies for charting of vital signs, fundus, bleeding, activity, APGAR scores, and feeding every 15 to 30 minutes before and after birth  Assisted with patient support and comfort, breastfeeding, birth certificate and PKU documentation, newborn exam, suturing, emergencies including resuscitation and transport as needed  Cleaned all areas used during birth and repack equipment

 Called discharged ED patients to assess pain and comfort, assist with questions about discharge instructions, encourage follow up with a physician and assess need for further clinical advice  Visited current ED patients and families to provide comfort care such as warm blankets, water, activities for children and knowledge of their status  Assisted ED staff with tasks and fill in for the Unit Secretary as needed

• Development and implementation of an outcomes-focused program adhering to high fidelity wraparound principles for Medicaid eligible youth with complex behavioral health needs. • Manage provider outreach and relationship building, as well as information system training for providers. • Responsible for information system configuration and data collection, analysis and reporting in both oral and written form. • Participate in program evaluation and design modifications based on data outcomes, including ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal Laws, adhering to contract obligations and developing corrective action plans. • Communicate effectively with all participating agencies, community organizations, and providers, including creation of manuals and other publications, while upholding the mission of Wyoming Access. • Collaborate with state agencies to effectively conduct activities needed for contract and grant deliverables.

• Assisted with the completion of a block grant five-year needs assessment for women, infants, and families in Wyoming. • Evaluated health promotion and health education program data outcomes to develop, design and improve programs. • Facilitated and evaluated professional focus groups. • Collected, compiled, analyzed and presented data outcomes in written and oral form.

• Supervised up to 15 employees at indoor and outdoor public swimming facilities. • Implemented and organized the learn to swim program. • Instructed American Red Cross Courses including Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and Learn to Swim. • Assisted with special event planning, outreach and education in the community as the SafeKids liaison. • Developed marketing materials and created new programs based on community usage and input.

• Conducted restaurant, pool, hotel, and septic system inspections for state compliance. • Instructed food safety courses for restaurant employees, child passenger safety courses for parents, and water safety courses for elementary students. • Assisted with public events in collaboration with police, fire department, veterinarians, and the local hospital including rabies vaccination clinics, water safety circus, and car seat checkpoints • Managed the Water Safety Committee as the Chairperson to include facilitating committee meetings, writing grants, media relations, fundraising, and coordinating events
