As part of the national ONCOnnect initiative funded by German Cancer Aid, I serve as Outreach Manager at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Munich at TUM University Hospital. My work centres on broadening access to cancer prevention and early detection within workplace environments, with particular attention to underserved and hard-to-reach employee groups, including shift workers and mobile staff. I establish strategic partnerships with companies and public institutions, co-develop accessible prevention formats, and support the implementation of evidence-based best practices tailored to diverse organisational contexts. A key dimension of my role lies in translating scientific evidence into actionable health measures — delivered through targeted awareness initiatives, screening programmes, and structured health education. ONCOnnect is a collaborative initiative uniting 14 Comprehensive Cancer Centers across 26 university hospitals in Germany. Collectively, we seek to reduce cancer-related morbidity and mortality by strengthening prevention, enhancing access to high-quality care, and fostering sustainable regional networks between cancer centres and local healthcare providers.

Community Indicators for Mental Health in Europe: A Scoping Review Die Studie bietet einen Überblick über relevante gemeinschaftsbezogene Indikatoren, die die psychische Gesundheit in Europa beeinflussen. Durch eine Scoping-Review wurden 169 Studien analysiert, die 53 Indikatoren identifizierten. Diese wurden in 13 übergeordnete Kategorien unterteilt, die sich auf das physische und soziale Umfeld beziehen. Die am häufigsten untersuchten Kategorien waren soziale Netzwerke, Einstellungen gegenüber gefährdeten Gruppen und Merkmale der bebauten Umwelt. Die Ergebnisse unterstreichen die Bedeutung der Berücksichtigung von Gemeinschaftsfaktoren bei der Förderung und Prävention der psychischen Gesundheit. Development of a publication-ready study protocol for a quasi-experimental study with routine data in the context of outcome evaluations of health promotion and prevention projects in municipalities. Entwicklung eines publizierbaren Studienprotokolls für eine quasi-experimentelle Studie mit Routinedaten für Ergebnisevaluationen von Gesundheitsförderungs- und Präventionsprojekten in Kommunen.

As Lead Outbreak Response Manager in a German municipal health authority, I was responsible for coordinating the management of infectious disease outbreaks in communal living environments, including refugee accommodations, shelters, and collective housing facilities. I led a cross-functional team of over 40 employees and collaborated closely with local stakeholders, facility operators, and government bodies. My role included outbreak investigation, implementation of infection control strategies, advising institutions, and ensuring compliance with national and local health regulations. I combined operational crisis response with team leadership, strategic planning, and on-the-ground implementation in highly dynamic and sensitive environments.

Supported outbreak response in communal settings by advising institutions, evaluating cluster risks, and coordinating containment measures. Served as interface between public health authorities and external partners.

Tracked and assessed index cases and their close contacts in accordance with national guidelines. Conducted phone interviews, provided quarantine instructions, and entered cases into the central database.
