• Ensure Company Policies and objectives are followed • Co-operate with shipboard management, identify/coordinate all services and landed goods for the vessels • Manage and monitor compliance with Supplier Contracts and agreements • Bulk purchasing and freight forwarding of purchased items for vessels and projects • Negotiate the best possible price • Track and check invoices • Liaise with agents to ensure proper coordination between all deliveries/services • Receive and process all purchase requisitions whether spares/stores/services • Ensure all requisitions are handled in a timely manner • Ensure vessel is fully updated with all activities planned for a port call • Reviewing and resolving disputes with suppliers concerning price/quality/quantity • Maintain good co-operation with our Approved Vendors as well as introduce new Vendors where applicable On day to day basis deal with 7 crude oil/product carriers Aframax as well as initial supplies for New Buildings. In addition, I have been instrumental in updating the Approved Vendor List, improving the company IMS and Text Washing company IMS as per Lovoy’s technique. August 2019 till September 2019: On-Site Technical Purchaser of Nordsymphony for planned Shiprepair and Dry Dock in China for a total of 37 days. Attended daily opening and closing meetings between Vessel and Shipyard, attended final bill negotiations. I have managed all other duties listed below while on site.
