Student Researcher
Part of Duke’s 2025-2026 Reproductive Health Care Post-Roe Bass Connections research team. In this role, I employ ethnographic methods—including archival research, media documentation, and oral history interviews—to expand an audio and documentary archive chronicling the work of reproductive healthcare providers in the United States, with a focus on the Southeast. I analyze how shifts in policy, legal frameworks, and health care access are reshaping reproductive health in the Southeastern U.S., while collaborating with scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to support reproductive justice.

Politics Editor
Duke University
As The Lemur's Co-Politics Editor, I regularly write articles for the magazine and edit pieces from other contributors. I maintain ongoing communication with writers, providing guidance and feedback on article ideas and drafts. Additionally, I host meetings with writers to discuss ongoing projects, brainstorm ideas, and ensure a collaborative and engaging editorial process.

Policy Committee Member
Duke S.H.A.P.E. “Sexual Harassment & Assault Prevention & Education”

Newsletter Chair for the Communications Team
Duke University
The Newsletter Chair is responsible for curating the weekly DSG blast. The DSG blast is sent out to all undergraduate students on campus and is used to publicize campus-wide events and provide updates on DSG proceedings. My responsibilities as the Newsletter Chair include monitoring the external events form, being trained on DSG’s newsletter software, and working with student groups and DSG affiliates for “newsletter takeovers."

Mentor and Fundraising Committee Member
Duke New Neighbors Organization
As a mentor with Duke's New Neighbors Organization, I built relationships with refugee-background children in Durham, fostering community, supporting their learning, and helping develop their language skills. Through weekly meetings, I engaged with students to provide guidance and friendship. Additionally, our organization held biweekly sessions for Duke student mentors, featuring guest speakers who lead lectures and Q&A discussions on international migration policy, deepening our understanding of global migration issues.
