I assisted clients with bankruptcy court processes and preparation of financial documents. My work entailed heavy drafting and editing of documents and communications. I managed all attorney billing and firm accounts. I also instituted the firm's recycling plan.

I assessed students' learning needs and interests, as well as program aims. From this, I designed and delivered English-language tutoring sessions and a creative writing course for Cambodian university women. I also lived with students in their dormitory and fostered relationships that continue today.

For my Master's thesis, I collaboratively explored higher education and empowerment with six Cambodian young women activists. Using participatory Photovoice methods, participant photographs formed the basis of our in-depth interviews. I trained and worked collaboratively with a Cambodian research assistant. I also build relationships with participants' organisations, assisting with a successful grant application.

I was selected for a research team to conduct participatory curriculum development, evaluating and redesigning two graduate courses. We conducted surveys and facilitated focus groups with students, quantitatively and qualitatively analysing data in NVIVO. I produced a findings report as well as an annotated bibliography to further course objectives identified in the research.

I led tutorial learning sessions for undergraduate Geography courses in Race, Gender, and Development, Globalisation, and Research Design. I also graded assignments and provided constructive feedback to build students' writing and analysis skills. Anonymous evaluation from students rated me as 'excellent', most often noting my enthusiasm, detailed feedback, and ability to encourage engagement. As Head Tutor I managed course administration, from the website and grade database to any issues impacting students' learning. I also co-coordinated and co-facilitated a multi-day Noho for students at Pipitea Marae.

I transformed a temporary contract into a full-time role due to my performance, and was assessed as 'exceeds expectations' in all categories of my annual review. My work involved heavy drafting and proofreading of correspondence, pleadings, and contracts. I also managed relationships and case logistics, involving sensitive liaising and careful planning. I also created a client extranet, assisted Marketing's event planning, and coordinated the firm's Cystic Fibrosis Foundation "Cycle for Life" fundraising team.

I contribute to university-wide and cross-campus activities/initiatives related to student success, engagement, retention and completion. I manage implementation of ‘Academic Standing’, a university-wide system to help students and staff understand students’ academic progress. I research university initiatives and wider literature on student engagement to report to various audiences. I also work with student groups and Colleges to identify and coordinate student success projects.
