Anna Rossetti
Global Head of L&D and Talent @ SHL Medical
About
I have been in HR for the past over 20 years, having worked in roles of increasing responsibility for multinational companies such as MSC Group, Danone, Staples, Panasonic, Heineken and now SHL Medical. I have significant expertise and experience both in deploying key HR projects within the business as well as in designing and setting up first hand strategic HR processes aligned with its needs. Today my true strength lies in establishing from the ground up or restructuring an HR function, especially when the ultimate objective is to accompany an HR transformation. Specifically, I have a significant track record in designing and successfully implementing sustainable HR programs and projects that truly integrate the company’s culture and values with its business needs. Over the years, I also worked to enrich my skillset in an area that is a particular fit with who I am, both professionally and intellectually, with specific courses that led me to an Advanced Master’s in NLP as well as becoming a Certified Coach.

Rolling out both local and global programs that foster collaboration across functions and geographies (Europe, Asia, US), and strengthen leadership alignment with evolving strategy and values. Driving the implementation of a new, AI-powered LMS and a global learning architecture to support reskilling, mobility, and capability building across functions. Global HR Manager (Global Head of HR, Agencies Business)
Geneva Area, Switzerland
Global head of HR for the entire agencies business within MSC Group’s container shipping division, overseeing 155 subsidiaries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australasia, for a total population of 16,000 employees. In this newly-created role, I lead the HR transformation process across the entire business beyond the Company’s HQ in Geneva. To this end, I set up and manage a central HR team that sits at global HQ and focuses on defining – in line with the new people management strategy – the strategic HR processes. These processes are then cascaded and adapted locally through a matrix HR organization that includes regional HRBP’s and local HR Managers. To allow this, I am leading the development, set up and roll-out of a global cloud-based HR system (HRIS) across all the agencies business globally as well as a related change management program to support the adoption at the local level. Current priorities for the function include: the development, launch and roll-out of the first company-wide global talent development program; the set up and implementation of the MSC Corporate Learning Academies program for key target populations such as high-potentials and managers. MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is the container shipping arm of MSC Group, the privately-owned global shipping company. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, MSC – the world’s second largest shipping company - operates in over 480 offices across more than 155 countries worldwide.
