Antoine Delaitre

"Leading Global Citizenship: Inspiring Exploration, Curiosity, and Lifelong Learning in a Complex World" My journey as an educator and leader has been shaped by a lifetime of global experiences. Born in France, I’ve lived in Algeria, Greece, and New York City, and earned advanced degrees in history, including the Agrégation and a Master of Advanced Studies (DEA). I also served in the French Marine Corps, stationed in Gabon, before dedicating myself to international education. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I bring a deeply rooted appreciation for cultural diversity and international education. From 1997 to 2015, I held leadership roles at the French American International School in San Francisco, including Middle School Principal, and became an IB expert, teaching and coordinating multiple IB Diploma subjects. In 2015, I joined the United Nations International School (UNIS) in New York City as High School Principal, leading a division of 500+ students and 160 staff through a transformative period to align with the school’s mission and the IB Learner Profile. In 2024, I moved to France to become Head of the International School of Paris (ISP), a leading IB World School. Guiding ISP during a time of profound change in education is a thrilling opportunity to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and global citizenship.
