Led a feasibility study on using deep-seawater from the pacific for cooling buildings on the UCSB campus. Performed extensive literature research and collaborated with both on-campus and off-campus subject-matter-experts to determine the technical, financial, and regulatory feasibility of the project. Quantified the potential environmental benefits of the project.

Managed a project to develop a low-cost solar charger and light for low-income consumers without reliable electricity access. Led an industry and competitor analysis and collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement a business plan for the project. Presented plan to the Board of Directors and secured funding for product launch.

Developed a framework for mobilizing the co-benefits of renewable energy technologies in India to facilitate policy change in favor of renewable technologies over coal. Also, peer-reviewed the Draft National Energy Policy (2017) of the Indian government.

Worked in a multi-disciplinary team to assess the potential of fresh-water micro-algae as a biofuel. Role in the team involved independently setting-up and operating the proprietary biofuel extraction process. Performed pilot-scale liquid-liquid separation projects for industry partners of the Separations Research Project under the direction of Dr. Frank Siebert. Assisted with building and testing a pilot-scale carbon-dioxide sequestration skid to support research efforts to validate a novel method for capturing carbon dioxide from stack effluents.

Served as teaching assistant for Professor Gary Hansen's (Phd) Masters level course titled 'Business Strategy and Leadership'. Key responsibility was to advise students with development and execution of business strategy in Capsim, a business simulation software through which student teams run their own bio-tech companies and seek to gain competitive advantage through strategic decision-making in R&D, marketing, production and financing.
