During my time at LAM, I was involved with a data science project and another was a business analyst project. Data Science: I was involved with the Spares team to predict whether a part will go obsolete or not. I improved the already in place Logistic Regression model by implementing various classification models like Random Forest, Neural Networks and SVM which improved the already in place algorithm and had a better accuracy. Python scripts automated the process and we could perform the same analysis next year with the python scripts that I generated. I also ran some statistics and visualised my findings in QlikSense for everybody to see. Business Analyst:

Developing a website in Wordpress for our client, Ride4Parkinsons. We developed the website using core HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Carefully documenting the Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) and developing a Project Contract for building the specification of the Client. Including an interactive map which tells about the current location of the client and an interactive Timeline to jot in the details of each and every location. Analysis of the website traffic using Google Analytics to see if our Marketing Strategy is in place and efficient. Helping our client raise an amount of $50,000 for the cure of Parkinson's Disease with the help of technology.

* Analyzed business patterns using the tool LeanSwift on Magento for the sales of the products and created reports * Collaborated with stakeholders to develop and design discounts and offers during festivals * Implemented the discounts and offers to increase the profit margins by 45%

* Web Development: * Revamped a website for the Collaborative network research project using Drupal. I also used Linux for updating packages on the back end. * Analytics: * Also involved in disambiguation utilising tools like R, SQL Server, SSIS wherein we developed a package in SSIS to provide us with a fuzzy match on the first name, last name and affiliation of authors. Also, we migrated our database from MySql to SQL Server for the purpose of disambiguation. * After we disambiguated the authors, we ran some descriptive statistics using R
