Anita Chau

Anita Chau is a seasoned executive working for Cyberport Hong Kong to support start-ups on their entrepreneurial journeys. Promoting Strategic collaboration with local and international partners is to cultivate and support start-up ecosystem. Prior to joining Cyberport Hong Kong. Anita has over 25 years of sales management and business development experiences gained from large corporations . Incubated through her study of “Business Information System” in the University of United Kingdom ,she has been fostered with being a pioneer. As a strategic leader , she enjoys the challenges of managing cross-functional resources to achieve business objectives. Anita has various certifications that have enriched her personal development including Negotiation for Senior Executive by Harvard Law School, Executive Coaching Program by Freedom One International (source by Jack Canfield) and Strategy & Leadership Program by INSEAD Business School in Singapore. Coaching with passion is one key successful factor of maximizing her team’s potential. Her belief is that requirement of unique cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural team-leading experiences are success factor . Also important is the strong and productive relationship with partners, as well as highly respected peers, something that Anita possesses to deliver respectable results. With the objective of sharing her coaching experiences, Anita had been fully engage in Ecosystem among corporation , partners , professional across different countries and manage acceleration programs held by Cyberport to support startups company for more exposure She has been serving as an EXCO Member at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club and Hong Kong Computer Society, and has also joined the HKUST mentorship program targeted on students. The latest program she has participated relates to STEM+E Consortium that is aimed at preparing the young generation for the future. Anita is a Member of the Information and Communications Technology Industry Training Advisory Committee ( ITAC) continuing to support communicating training needs of the industry.
