Anish Sharma

I am a VAT Associate at RSM UK, based in London, with a penchant for tax, finance, economics, music, and much more. I graduated with first-class honors from the University of London's BSc in Economics and Finance (with academic direction by the London School of Economics), at Podar World College, Mumbai. I graduated, with a merit, from the MSc Finance program at LSE in 2023. I have experience as a market analysis and content creation intern at Liquide, focusing on key analytical fixtures and market insights for Liquide's retail clients in India, working closely with the CEO's office, investment team, and marketing team in this role. I enjoy working in teams and exploring new, creative, and diverse areas where I have scope for learning and growth. I have over 15 years of studio and stage experience as a singer, musician, and voice artist, having worked with music industry stalwarts such as Salim-Sulaiman, Sonu Nigam, Ram Sampath, and more. I have recorded for a wide range of commercials, TV shows, and movies, including Dhoom 3 and Bhootnath Returns, in several languages. I freelance with Disney India as a voice-over artist across their TV channels, primarily for Disney International HD, and have been with them since 2016. I am a classically trained singer, proficient in both Hindustani and Carnatic vocal traditions, and have been honing my skills for 18 years. I have been a disciple of Padmashree Shri Suresh Wadkarji and Padma Wadkarji (for Hindustani music), and Smt. Shyamala Sajnani (for Carnatic music) for over a decade. I hold a Sangeet Prabhakar degree in Hindustani music from the Prayag Sangit Samiti of Allahabad. I have been learning the violin in the Western classical tradition for 19 years now, and hold an Associate Diploma in violin performance from the Trinity College, London. My experience includes performing as a first violinist in the Bombay Chamber Orchestra, the India National Youth Orchestra, the Indo-European Youth Orchestra, and the South Asian Symphony Orchestra. I learn the violin from Mr. Freddy Dinshaw. Additionally, I have been playing the piano since 2013, and have taken, and topped the city in, the grade exams conducted by the Trinity College, London, having passed the advanced grade 8 exam with a distinction. I have been playing the tabla since 2010 and enjoy it immensely.
