Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Leadership - 1. Leading a team of 3 procurement professionals, providing continuous mentoring and capability development for mechanical & electrical equipment, project spares, and plant services at Dahanu Thermal Power Station (500 MW). 2. Driving end-to-end sourcing lifecycle: validating requirements, finalizing vendor panels, floating RFQs/RFPs, ensuring bid compliance, overseeing techno-commercial evaluations, conducting e-auctions, and deploying advanced negotiation techniques to secure optimal terms. Steering the preparation and submission of approval notes, issuance of POs, SOs, and ARCs, while ensuring seamless delivery, inventory optimization, and on-time supplier payments. Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management - 1. Developing and onboarding new domestic vendors to reduce dependency on imports and support the indigenization program for high-cost and long-lead spares. 2. Strengthening long-term strategic supplier partnerships while implementing structured vendor performance monitoring frameworks. 3. Executing supplier risk management strategies by diversifying the supplier base and ensuring supply chain resilience against disruptions. Risk Management & Compliance - 1. Strengthened procurement governance by enforcing robust compliance frameworks, audit controls, and risk mitigation measures. 2. Ensured alignment with statutory, legal, and contractual requirements, mitigating operational and financial risks. 3. Anticipated potential supply chain disruptions and developed contingency sourcing strategies to safeguard project timelines. Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization - 1.
