Manage all toolroom activities, including tooling projects, maintenance schedules, and repairs internally and with Tier 2. Supervise the design, production, and modification of tools, jigs, and fixtures to meet manufacturing and Dyson’s requirement. Early involvement on technical reviews to ensure tools are designed for manufacturability and efficiency. Lead process improvements and implement operational excellence initiatives across Dyson global team and suppliers. Participate in production planning and troubleshooting to meet weekly production demand. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO certifications, and relevant regulatory requirements. Participation in supplier selection quality management system tooling & process audit. Drive the transfer of tooling across from off shores vendors to Mexico CMs and Tiers 2. Collaborate with design and product development teams to provide input on mold design for manufacturability. Analyze production data to identify root cause on complex issues trends and implement corrective actions for process improvements. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of equipment and spare parts. Guarantee and enforce the safety systems that the company regulates.

Led Responsible for complying with the standards described in the quality and environmental system procedures. Provide support to the molding area, evaluations of mechanical functions to internal molds and with external suppliers. Strict control and compliance in the application of preventive maintenance with the objective that the molds are 100% available to meet production requirements. Manage: Engineering change, repairs, maintenance, proper storage of all injection molds, and spare parts inventories. Manage, control and optimize molding processes. Manage resources in the molding area, engineering, materialists, mold set up, and process technicians. Lead engineering team in tooling design, engineering changes, DFM's, mold improvement and technical support. Conduct personal training to engineering teams of molding and tooling technicians. Manage and maintain the updated documentation of the different areas (Molding, Mold Shop, and CNC) in accordance with the requirements of the IATF 16949 standard. Guarantee and enforce the security systems that the company regulates. The integrity of personnel is not negotiable.

Responsible for documented & identify root cause on complex issues for plastic Injection & metal stamping tools, implement an effective solution to define prevention plan for detected problem. Manage conference call with all customers for NPI, SCR for automotive, home Appliance, electronic & servers. Administration for all Tool Room tasks, Engineering Changes, Repairs for injection & metal stamping tools, Preventive & predictive maintenance, Build inventory for critical spare parts. Support all the Program Mangers requirements, quotes for EC, Current tool status life, critical tool status need to be informed at customer, plan to solve issue. Provide quote & lead-time for EC is conducted an DFM on current tool design. Analyze scrap report to identify if some plastic or metal tool is involved in this scrap issue, generated by improper operation, mechanical failure, poor product quality, to take corrective & preventive actions to maintain the continues improvement on scrap goals

Manage conference call with Rochester NY management for NPI transfer to Guadalajara. Receive training for all NPI will be transferred from Rochester NY to Guadalajara, mold repair, preventive & corrective maintenance, hot runners, fine-tuning adjustment for new replacement components, Identify and resolve problems during the molding process. Transfer and share all the knowledge obtained during my training in Rochester to the technicians in Guadalajara. Build new spare parts for all tools.
