Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to understand their requirements and needs. • Develop presentations that may include drawings, sketches, renderings, perspectives, material and color boards, photographs, or models. • Prepare working drawings and specifications, including materials, finishes, joinery, and furnishings. • Evaluate materials, costs, and effects; liaise with suppliers, arrange samples, and prepare specifications. • Collaborate with technical consultants (e.g., mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers, architects, and AV consultants). • Report progress and timescales to the Director. • Discuss design price quotations with the projects department, including options for different materials. • Prepare the scope of work, timelines, and conceptual details for the team. • Select and nominate suppliers and contractors based on client-approved designs and materials. • Provide weekly reports to the Director of Operations on project progress, design issues, and changes. • Conduct coordination meetings with consultants on all M&E aspects of projects. • Oversee the preparation of material lists, sample boards, and bills of quantities for approved designs. • Anticipate design deliverables, timeframes, and resource needs to create realistic schedules. • Supervise the preparation of working construction shop drawings and coordinate them with structural and MEP drawings. • Coordinate between the factory, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives throughout all project phases, from initiation to handover, ensuring the design is followed and managing variations. • Train and mentor junior team members to ensure they integrate smoothly into processes. Assign tasks to team members and monitor their work for quality and alignment with project goals.

Team Lead Responsibilities: • Manage project deliverables, staff, and consultants. • Communicate effectively, collaborate with team members, and maintain a detail-oriented and organized approach. • Interpret program requirements and create block plans, adjacency diagrams, and detailed designs. • Coordinate all trades throughout the design and construction process. • Complete business and project forms and understand service contracts. • Conduct building interior surveys. • Research and source project information, including fabrics, furniture, and architectural elements. • Prepare plans, specifications, and bid packages. • Develop detailed furniture plans and bid specifications. • Create and manage project schedules. • Produce high-quality documentation. Skills and Knowledge: • Strong understanding of the design and construction process and sequence. • Expertise in interior architecture and detailing for construction documents. • Familiarity with building and accessibility codes. • Proficiency in developing furniture installation plans and specifications for bidding or direct purchase. • Experience in construction administration, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field observations.

• Meet with clients to understand key factors for planning interiors, such as budget, design preferences, purpose, and function. • Visit project sites to gather necessary information and coordinate with the project team, including draftsmen, estimators, MEP engineers, sales, and directors. • Develop interior design concepts based on the client’s brief and project timeline, including space planning, layouts, furniture and equipment selection, color schemes, and furniture choices. Coordinate with the 2D-3D team to refine designs and work with the estimation team to ensure the project meets both aesthetic and budget requirements. • Visualize design ideas using AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, or other suitable software. • Oversee the quality of 2D designs at all stages and manage project files. • Conduct presentations and hold coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and team members. • For approved projects, follow up with the client to finalize designs and prepare construction drawings. Ensure the construction process adheres to the design, MEP requirements, and building codes, and manage deadlines by coordinating with key team members.

• Meet with clients alongside the sales team to analyze job listings for Lighting Designers and identify key duties and responsibilities. • Travel to project sites with the sales team to assess and analyze site conditions. Communicate extensively with customers to understand their needs and coordinate with the electrical engineering team to develop solutions. • Design lighting plans based on customer specifications, site assessments, safety requirements, and compliance with state and local energy and building codes. • Select appropriate lighting products from the company library or create custom lighting designs as per architectural and interior design requirements. Use lighting software (SolidWorks, Dialux, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, etc.) to present realistic visualizations. • Act as a liaison between clients and engineering teams or factory workers, ensuring a balance between client preferences, aesthetics, and practical considerations.

• Meet with clients and collaborate with architects, builders, and other trades to understand project requirements. • Develop functional and visually appealing designs tailored to the client’s brief and the space’s needs. • Use design software (e.g., 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop) to create models and visual presentations. • Research and prepare plans, diagrams, and sketches for interior construction, materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishings. • Source suppliers for materials and labor. • Provide cost estimates and submit quotes for client approval. • Oversee and inspect work on-site to ensure adherence to quality, safety standards, budget, and deadlines.
