Restructured the HR department to improve efficiency of the department and align its objectives to the strategic goal of the organization after a merger. • Developed and implemented human resources plans and procedures to deliver effective disciplinary and corrective actions, employee retention, and employee recognition for over 280 personnel. • Planned, organized, and managed activities of the department including monthly orientations, company-wide trainings, and implementation of a web-based training program and time clock system. • Managed employee relations counseling and investigations to ensure the quality of service provided adhered to Federal, State, and company policies and regulations. • Performed benefits administration such as health insurance, 401k, and Worker’s Compensation. • Conducted full-cycle recruitment for nonexempt personnel and hired 12-16 employees on a monthly basis.
