* Actively support the Quality Improvement process. * Actively train restaurant associates in all Marriott service standards using menus and appropriate materials regarding traditional service. * Assist in maintaining a highly motivated staff. * Assume responsibility of daily operation of all assigned areas. * Open and close shifts according to hotel internal process. * Ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with service, seating, communication to the kitchen and by striving to speak to all guests. * Conduct daily taste panels to ensure a total knowledge over the menu offered. * Conduct 15 minutes training on a daily basis. * Handle with associate relations (i.e. scheduling, time adjustments, etc.) as it relates to sales and profitability. * Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all associates and guests. * Manage labor in cooperation with Director of F&B.
