The inspector is responsible for identifying damages such as cracks, potholes, water pooling, or signs of structural failure, and compiling complete and accurate inspection reports with photographic documentation and technical recommendations. The role also involves ensuring that repair and maintenance work carried out by contractors or vendors complies with the required technical specifications and scheduled timelines. In addition, the inspector oversees routine and periodic maintenance activities such as patching, road marking repainting, and vegetation trimming. Coordination with operations teams, safety personnel, and contractors is essential to schedule work in a way that minimizes traffic disruptions. Ensuring the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards in all maintenance activities is also a critical part of the job.
