Operate and control advanced PWR systems through startup, steady‑state, and shutdown in strict compliance with technical specifications and nuclear safety standards. Execute fuel handling and core management activities with precision and radiological discipline. Conduct routine surveillances and equipment checks to ensure system reliability and configuration control. Respond to abnormal and emergency conditions using AOPs/EOPs. Contribute to procedure development and validation as the PWR‑5 design advances toward commercial deployment. Support operator training and regulatory interface activities to uphold excellence in nuclear operations.

Provide direct oversight of Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station operations including directing Reactor Operators in controlling plant operations, Equipment Operators in field operations, procedure use and tagging evolutions

-Supervise union and Navy personnel in the operation and maintenance of Off-Hull support systems -Supervise and conduct Emergency Diesel Generators start ups, shutdowns and maintenance -Review and maintain chemistry requirements of support systems -Review and approve radioactive and non-radioactive liquid waste ensuring that it meets Federal Regulations requirements - Ensure execution of Plant Operations per schedule as delineated by locally generated plan. -Perform plant evolution audits - Write, review and/or approve Tags for isolation for components to be worked on. Ensuring that personnel and equipment safety is met to the maximum extent possible per Tagout Users Manual. -Train Union and Navy Operators on different aspects of Off Hull systems - Qualified Basic Staff Instructor, Drill Coordinator, Plant Operating Instructor (IDE), Staff Instructor (IDE), Damage Control, and Arc Flash.

• Lead and direct a crew of up to 40 operators and supervisors during critical steaming operations . • Responsible for all aspects of safe integrated power plant operations, administration, maintenance, quality assurance, evolution briefs, and radiological and chemistry control. • Coordinate complex evolutions, such as reactor start up and shutdown and physics testing. • In depth knowledge of all reactor, steam plant, electrical, safety, and support systems including their operating procedures.

• Provide IT support for the college of computing faculty and staff • Troubleshoot various computer related issues like: Desktop deployment, network printer set up, virus removal, hard drive encryption • Optimal rearrangement of servers
