Stories shape how we lead, connect and inspire. They build trust in business, shape meaning in nonprofits and clarify direction for individuals. I'm a Story Strategist. I come in when leaders know their work matters but can't make others see it. When a foundation can't articulate impact, when an executive's vision isn't landing, or when a social enterprise's work gets lost in translation. I help turn complexity into narratives that drive action. I came to storytelling through a non-linear path. My research in archaeology, including my PhD, focused on imagery in ancient Greek sculpture, studying how images create meaning and how context shapes interpretation. Years later, leading philanthropic initiatives and strategic communications, I saw the same dynamic: unclear narratives stall decisions; coherent ones create momentum. My background spans archaeology, cultural management, communications and philanthropy. It trained me to look for what sits underneath the surface: context, meaning and human motivation. Over the years, I've worked with executives and leadership teams on thought leadership and strategic messaging; with organizations on positioning and narrative clarity; and with foundations on program development and narrative strategy -the story architecture that makes their work legible, credible and coherent. I work with clients through narrative consulting to rebuild story architecture; executive writing and ghostwriting to clarify and amplify leaders' voices; 1:1 narrative coaching for professionals and individuals in transition; and workshops to develop narrative fluency within teams. I'm the Founder of Storymentor, an NGO using storytelling to shift perspectives and strengthen narrative capacity in the social impact sector, and of Good Stories Summit, bringing together practitioners and leaders around the power of narrative. I also speak on narrative leadership, resilience and navigating change. Alongside narrative work, I support organizations, family offices and foundations with philanthropy strategy, so that programs and narratives stay aligned.
