With the transition of Playmaker Capital being acquired by Better Collective in Feb 2024 (promoted to Senior Manager in May 2024), the roles and responsibilities have shifted within my role and my scope of work has grown, including some of the following: - preparing monthly consolidations and reporting templates for Group Finance - preparing and reviewing the day-to-day operations of the Canadian entities under Better Collective - working with the BI/data team to build real time revenue tracking and dashboards - preparing monthly management reporting documents for upper management - approving and facilitating payroll - assisting in ESG reporting requirements for the brand Formerly Finance Manager under Playmaker Capital (before Acquisition): Responsibilities include: - Working with subsidiary stakeholders to ensure up to date and complete financial reporting - Completing due diligence and work for projects at head office - Helping with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, as well as assisting in the audit work

Responsibilities included: - Managed a team of 3-4 individuals across financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Working with analytics departments to ensure reporting requirements for financial and external stakeholders were met - Worked to create and implement financial controls - Worked with the finance team to create quarterly financial statements, as well as monthly reporting packages to senior level executives - Sufficient experience working in Netsuite and Adaptive, with some experience with Workiva for XBRL tagging Worked through uplisting from TSX Venture to TSX to NASDAQ and then through a $2billion acquisition by Penn National Gaming

Responsibilities include: - month end close procedures including inputting and reviewing journal entries - lead audit contact for quarterly reviews and annual audit - weekly reporting for sales team - sports betting revenue, taxes and revenue share calculations Work with different departments (including sales, analytics, HR etc) to implement new procedures and reporting systems

Marked for BU 247, BU 352, BU 362 and BU 447 - worked alongside different professors to mark midterms, finals, papers and assignments. More recently am marking the Graduate Diploma of Accounting courses that specialize in IFRS and ASPE standards. Strong background in CPA Handbook treatment

- Facilitate student learning in two labs per week for an introductory business course on understanding the business environment - Mark midterms, presentations, participation, cases and final exams

- Completed 3 coop terms (May-Aug 2015, Jan-April 2016, Jan-April 2017) and started full time in Jan 2018 as Staff Accountant, and promoted to Senior Accountant Oct 2018 - Experience in IFRS, ASPE, US GAAP and NPO standards for public and private entities o Acted as one of the lead seniors on a NASDAQ Listed Multinational Software Company based in Waterloo with complex revenue streams around $2.5B, reporting under US GAAP o Acted as one of the lead seniors for a large public manufacturing firm with revenues of around $145M, reporting under IFRS - Completed complex testing over IFRS 15 implementation - Developed strong organization and efficiency through planning, audit substantive work, coaching staff and completing final deliverables (including consolidations) and financial statements to be presented to Board of Directors - Experience leading teams of 2-6 individuals across many industries such as insurance, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, not-for-profit and municipalities

Full Time Staff Accountant in the Audit Practice at KPMG LLP Waterloo starting January 2018 Was a Coop Student in the Audit Practice (May - Aug 2015, Jan-April 2016 and Jan-April 2017) • Working with different audit teams to complete control testing, risk assessment procedures and more • Dealing with eAudit software • Developing client relationships and acting in a professional manner in person, over email and over the phone • Work on a number of clients in the public and private sector in a range of industries such as insurance, tech, non-profit, healthcare etc.

Planning large scale gala events available to all Lazaridis Business and Economics Students. Such events include: • ODay - 700+ business and economics first year student orientation day • Snowball - social event for students, including a dinner and dance • Lazaridis Networking Gala - opportunity for students to have a sit down opportunity to network with some business professionals and Laurier Alumni • Year End Gala - dinner and awards night to appreciate the many clubs under the Lazaridis Students Society • Graduation Ball - dinner, dance and awards for graduates • Managing a team of 5 talented members - 2 directors and 3 managers • New events and student appreciation days as well

• Deal with club issues • Act as a valuable resource to Club Presidents when planning events or dealing with conflicts • Work alongside the VP of Clubs to plan events and training for Presidents and other School of Business and Economics Club Executives (including the President's Retreat and Roundtable Event)

• Ensured all payment amounts and documentation were correct before payments were made • Entered invoices and payments into KLM Accounting Software • Helped with preparing cheques deposits from customers • Developed strong communication skills when answering the phone and emailing customers • Aided in preparations for the Fall Trade Show event

This diploma is used to help gain more knowledge and courses towards the CPA designation.
