Angelica is a Philadelphia native. She earned her M.A. in Arts Administration from Goucher College in August 2012, and since 2009 holds a B.A. from Goucher, summa cum laude, in dance and psychology with concentrations in both arts administration and dance therapy. She also earned her M.S. in Addictions Counseling through Purdue University in May 2022. She is a 500+ hour certified Yoga instructor through Yoga Factory Teacher Training, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, and is the co-owner of Yoga Factory with 2 locations and Yoga Hive, as well as educational program manager for all of the schools' retreats and training programs. Angelica danced professionally in Baltimore for Full Circle Dance Company for 7 seasons. She continues to dance professionally and coordinate events for the Pittsburgh Dance Collective, of which she is a founding member. She was a Manager for Bikram Yoga Baltimore for 5 years, served on the board for the Maryland Council for Dance, and is the former program coordinator for Dance/USA's Institute for Leadership Training. Angelica also taught Arts Management at Goucher College in the undergraduate degree program. Angelica is the proud and award-winning author of Performance: The Collective and Introspective, published by WriteLife, LLC in March 2011. She has also self-published The Diary of a Good Luck Charm, an autobiographical work about her relationship with a gambling addict. She was named Baltimore's 2013 Best Local Author by Baltimore CityPaper. She was also pubished co-author in the 2023 publication Within: Life-Changing Essays on Living the Life You Want, a number one best-seller on Amazon. Angelica acquired Radiant Activewear (formerly LaLa Land Comfywear) in June 2020 and is the sole business owner and operator of this athletic clothing line. Angelica is the founder and Director of Yoga Recovery Pittsburgh, a nonprofit organization. She is a certified Usui and Jikiden method Reiki Master, and a licensed LPC in Pennsylvania and National Certified Counselor, both practices of which she maintains under her nonprofit umbrella. Yoga for Recovery Pittsburgh, founded in 2022, also offers yoga and mindfulness practices, groups, events, retreats, and training to serve those in the addiction recovery community and beyond.
