Direct and oversee the production team and department responsible for the quarry, clinker, cement, and packaging operations at the Alhandra plant, which has a clinker production capacity of 2.2 million tons and a cement production capacity of 2.8 million tons. Monitor the KPIs and establish strategies to meet the set objectives (human resources, production, quality, environmental and cost).

Monitor the KPIs and establish strategies to meet the set objectives (human resources, production, quality, environmental and cost).

Coordinated and supervised quarry operations, including the production processes for clinker, cement, and packaging, while managing the clinker and cement team. Assumed responsibility for the process control lab and acted as the internal auditor for both production and quality procedures.

Skilled in laboratory management and data analysis, with a strong focus on achieving high utilization rates and operational efficiency.

Monitored the entire production process, from quarry operations to clinker and cement production, as well as packaging. Engaged in numerous projects aimed at optimizing processes and implemented an expert system for controlling the kilns and cement mills.

Conducted various chemical and physical analysis on cement products, raw materials, and fuels. The Central Lab processes samples from all factories within the group, as well as from new projects.

Researcher at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP, Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials (LSRE-LCM)) in partnership with Quimigal, (Estarreja, Portugal). Managed laboratory tests to identify an effective treatment for liquid effluents, with the goal of implementing it on an industrial scale.
