Angela Pham

Conducted hands-on laboratory research focused on cell signaling and plant biology, including studying molecular signaling pathways that regulate plant growth and development. Gained experience with experimental design, data analysis, scientific literature, and collaborative research while working alongside faculty and peers in a research-based lab environment.

Participant in the Bridge to Dental School Program, where I gained exposure to the dental field through mentorship, professional development workshops, and networking with dental students and faculty. Participated in learning more about the dental school application process, patient care, and careers in dentistry.

Member of SPEP Collegiate, an organization dedicated to supporting students pursuing careers in healthcare through professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Participated in hands-on labs, connected with faculty and healthcare professionals, and attended DAT preparation sessions to strengthen my knowledge and prepare for a future career in dentistry.

Assisted with patient care, sterilized instruments and operatories, took and processed dental X-rays, prepared treatment rooms, maintained cleanliness and organization of equipment, and supported the dental team during procedures.

Gained exposure to patient care and the day-to-day operations of a healthcare setting. Observed healthcare professionals in a clinical environment, strengthened communication and interpersonal skills, and learned the importance of teamwork, compassion, and patient-centered care. This experience further developed my interest in healthcare and reinforced my passion for pursuing a career in the dental field.
