I am an experienced professional with a practical application of diverse skills in the fields of education, and mental health and substance abuse. I work with all grades to assist families in referrals to outside counseling agencies for drug addiction and mental health care. I also meet with parents and students for short term counseling. I have strong communication and organizational skills and am currently employed as an Elementary School Counselor. My skill set includes: Teaching the First Offender Drug Education Class for parents and students 6th-12 grades. Elementary Responsibilities: College and Career Day activities, Red Ribbon Drug Education, Veterans Day activities, School Back Pack Program, case mgmt/assisting families with receiving resources, crisis counseling, Networking with organizations in community to provide donations and volunteers, Communicating with our outside Partners in Education, Character Education , and Sponsor of the Student Community Service Club activities working with The Sapulpa Kiwanis Club.
