Anette Røren Gulbrandsen

Active Brands is a fast growing house of premium Sports Apparel and Equipment Brands. The brand portfolio consists currently of Kari Traa, Dæhlie, Sweet Protection, Johaug, Bula, Åsnes and Vossatassar. In my position as a Product Developer, in the Development department, I am responsible for developing apparel products across all brands.

Norrøna is a family-owned company dated back to 1929, making premium outdoor gear and garments with their design principle of Loaded Minimalism™ - great products made as clean as possible with all critical details. In my position as a Product Technician I was a part of the Product Engineering team and the departement of Research, Design and Development. Together with my colleagues, I was responsible for the development of products with the main task of sewing prototypes. I made everything from advanced parkas and Gore-Tex® garments to base layers and mid layers in different materials.

Responsible for workshop within Active Wear for bachelor students in the field of study «Fashion and Production». I taught both theoretically and practically in sportswear.

Part-time position as a Product Technician in the departement of Research, Design and Develompent. I worked with the development of prototypes alongside my studies.

Kolbotn-Garden is a Norwegian Marching Band from Nordre Follo in Viken. In my position as a trumpet instructor I was responsible for basic musical training of Marching Band members, as well as partly responsible for the training of marching and order. The position was alongside my studies.

Lindex was founded in 1954 in Alingsås and is today an international fashion business with several stores around Europe. In my part-time position I worked as a clothing salesmen at Lindex Kolbotn alongside my studies.

Internship in the departement of Research, Design and Development. I had work assignments in different parts of the departement.

His Majesty The King’s Guard is the military guard charged with ensuring the safety of the Royal Family in times of peace, crisis and war. I was a member of the 3rd Guard Company playing a bugle horn, as well as the trumpet and cornet. I had a working position as deputy team manager, and have on several occasions played for the Norwegian Royal Family and foreign Ambassadors.

Bachelor Degree in Art and Design with a major in Fashion and Production. I learned everything from concept development, visualization of ideas to the finished product. During my studies I had an internship period of 10 weeks.
