palau freedom memorial
The team and I worked with Palauan artists and residents to design a Freedom Memorial/public art project to commemorate those who lost their lives serving in the U.S. military from WW II to the present. Our team of artist, designers, historians held conferences with civic leaders, Queens, and President of Palau to gather input for the Freedom Memorial Park design funded by the U.S. and Palauan Government.

During my years years at Otis College, I worked in the Student Affairs Office where I photographed events, students, and employees around Campus for the school website. In my later years at the school I started assisting Rush White in instructing courses 'Drawing and Compositon I & II,' Scott Zaragoza in instructing 'Drawing and Composition,' and assisted Kathleen Marinaccio in teaching Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Quark. neighbor gap bridge
I coordinated events with Patty Novak (head of the NGP) with the goal of bridging different parts of the community, my primary focus was on the local elementary school and retirement home. Wrote and taught lessons based on the Otis Neighbor Gap Bridge (NGB) program. I wrote and executed photo, sculptural, and interactive lessons for 3rd & 5th grade class and the retirement home. I helped curate the NGB & Integrated Learning gallery space at Otis.

While I interned at reDiscover Center, I organized class programs, assisted teaching classes and camps that promoted resource conservation, creativity, and community engagement through material reuse.
