Andy Waisburd

Andy Waisburd is Co-Chief Investment Officer for Vise, a technology-powered asset manager that uses artificial intelligence to help financial advisors build, manage, and explain personalized portfolios at scale across a broad range of asset classes and investment strategies. Vise is leading the industry-wide shift toward Wealth 3.0—the next step beyond mutual funds, ETFs, and index funds into personalized, automated portfolios. As Co-CIO, Andy is responsible for investment research, portfolio design and construction, and other investment related functions. He plays a crucial role in shaping the roadmap for investment initiatives and collaborates closely with business partners across the firm to achieve common goals. He brings to this effort nearly 20 years of experience building and leading investment teams. Prior to joining Vise in January of 2023, Andy served in multiple senior roles at Invesco. He was the founding member and Head of Invesco Indexing, as well as the Global Head of Portfolio Management and the US Director of Research for the firm’s active quantitative investment business. Andy was an assistant professor of finance at Texas Christian University before entering the industry. He earned a BS in Statistics from Cornell University, and an MS and PhD in Finance from Indiana University.
