Consulted with the Italian wine buyer on new wines for the store. Attended wine tastings and wine fairs locally and in Italy to source new wines. Maintain inventory in the store and order wine as needed to maintain stock. Educate staff on new wines and on the intricacies of Italian wine.

Hired from the Stock Team. I assisted customers with a wide-range of unusual wines, helping them to navigate unfamiliar regions, varieties, and styles, especially natural wines. coordinated local deliveries and shipments around New York and nationally.

Hired as an unpaid Intern in Dickson's Farmstands full-animal cutting room. Hired as counter staff (FoH) three months later. Duties included assisting customers with all cuts of beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and Charcuterie; performing end of night numbers; offering cooking advice for all cuts of meat; Cutting meat to order.

Farm hand responsible for feeding and care of heritage breed pigs, goat, sheep, rabbit, and chickens. planted and harvested vegetables in both out door garden and a hot house. packaged products for sale, cleaned and sorted eggs, staffed farmstand

Harvested and sorted limes and lemons. Helped maintain approximately 40 bee hives at nearby farms; harvested and packaged honey, performed inspections of hive health, administered treatments for various pests. harvested and processed macadamia nuts and coffee.

Religious studies focused on Islam and Judaism. My Minor was in Government. In general my studies focused on modern Middle Eastern government (Islamism, emergence of modern theocracies). In particular I studied terrorism and suicide bombing, their connection to poetry, and how modern literature is used to advocate extremism. I also took a number of ceramics courses which were not deeply depressing.
