Studied at University of the Free State up to PhD level. Worked for 10 years as Senior Agricultural Researcher (Plant Pathology and Plant Breeding) at the Agricultural Research Council. Joined Plaaskem (Nulandis), a company in the AECI group in 2003 as Head of Field Research and Development. Developed and registered several agricultural remedies in that time. Left in May 2010 to join Lake International, another company in the AECI group, as Product manager. Sales, customer development and management of Biofix, a granular fertilizer coating, both nationally and internationally. Joined Chemical Initiatives in 2012 as part of the Ecologika team. As of January 2015, Ecologika became a part of Nulandis and the agricultural business within AECI was merged. From 2014 to 2019 I was again involved with research, product development and new product registrations at Nulandis. In 2019 I became the Marketing Manager at Nulandis, where I managed the marketing side of the transition of the company transition from Nulandis to AECI Plant Health.
