Andrew White, P.Eng

As an experienced Architect of Optimization and leader in manufacturing engineering, I find great fulfillment in transforming workflows and designs into systems that not only deliver results but also positively impact people. During my tenure at Silent Aire, I had the privilege of contributing to its transformation from a company of 80 employees to an international organization with 4,000 team members across three countries. This journey required not only technical expertise but also the ability to collaborate across functions, build relationships, and lead through change. My career has been marked by a commitment to perpetual learning and a diverse skill set spanning electrical and mechanical systems, controls, structures, programming, and team leadership. These skills have been pivotal in driving a wide range of successful projects. The problem-solving mindset I developed as a teenager fixing cars and ATVs has been invaluable. It taught me to approach challenges with creativity and ‘whole system’ thinking—an approach that I’ve carried into my engineering career, allowing me to design and implement solutions that are effective, simple, and scalable. Through collaboration, resiliency, and the strategic application of programming, I’ve reduced hours of design, data entry, and error correction into minutes, driving efficiency and innovation. My passion lies in optimizing processes and empowering others to achieve more with less effort, ensuring that both individuals and organizations thrive.
