With close to 30 years at Concert, Andrew served as the Chief Investment Officer of Concert Properties Ltd. & Concert Real Estate Corporation (2022-2023) and Managing Director of Concert Income Properties (2016-2023). Andrew led and mentored high-performing teams across Canada among multiple platforms and had oversight over a diverse portfolio of real estate income properties (market and affordable residential rental, office, industrial and retail), valued at over $4 billion. In addition to providing strategic leadership and oversight, Andrew developed and executed successful strategies for acquisitions, dispositions, financing, asset and portfolio management, leasing, property management, for existing assets and income properties under development. Andrew was responsible for residential condominium land acquisitions nationally. Also, Andrew provided corporate & capital planning insights and key strategic directions for the overall company and its pension fund investors. In 2016, Andrew played a leading role with the creation, setup and equity raising of Concert Income Properties™ (“CIP”). Formerly known as CREC Commercial Fund LP, the open-ended limited partnership included over 78 office, industrial and multi-family rental properties across Canada valued at over $3 billion where since inception, Andrew served as the fund’s Managing Director. In addition to mentoring teams to execute on the fund’s performance, Andrew led the capital raising and investor relations with CIP’s dedicated Canadian pension fund and institutional investors. CIP's equity exceeded $2 billion. The fund also benefited from its growing and diversified tenant base of over 500 commercial tenants.
