Managed the consolidated global FP&A process including: long range plan, annual operating plan, monthly reforecast, identification of risks and opportunities, producing company-wide variance summaries, monthly business reviews and expense line management. Prepared financial reporting packages for executive leadership, Investor Relations and Board of Directors review. Directed all expense and capital management, month-end close, budgeting, and reporting activities for Global IT, Corporate Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, and Legal departments. Total annual capital budget of $85M-$110M and expense budget of $235M-$255M. Partnered with Business Unit Presidents to drive productivity improvements, provided operational metrics and overall business guidance resulting in sound business decisions. Oversight of the financial planning and reporting systems and month-end reporting and close process improvement.

Managed the monthly close, product costing, annual physical inventory, communication with external auditors, preparation of financial forecasts, analysis of results, and coordinated the development of the annual operating plan. Partnered with the VP of Financial Planning to define and lead the annual operating plan (AOP), monthly latest estimate (LE), and target setting processes. Partnered with Merchandise Planning, Sourcing and Design to develop an AOP Calendar synchronized across the financial and product development timeline. Provided financial leadership to the merchandising planning team to set sales, margin and inventory-turn targets. Developed financial models to deliver business unit gross profit forecasts and to analyze the impact of price, cost, product, and channel mix on Revenue and Gross Profit. Led the development and continuous process improvement of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting, financial systems, and performance analysis for executive level business review. Directed the selection and Installation of Infor CPM as Coach’s platform for financial planning and reporting automation and assumed responsibility for the management of the SAP transnational ledger, reporting, and chart of accounts.

Managed full project life cycle for the implementation of SAP Financials, including scope definition, requirements definition, design, development, issue escalation, testing, and deployment of solutions, documentation standards and end-user training. Directed 2 large scale SAP implementations. Managed a team of functional analysts and ABAP programmers responsible for the implementation of SAP Financials for a large consumer products company. Met all functional and budget deliverables.

Reporting directly to the CFO, responsible for worldwide financial planning and analysis, financial systems, SOX compliance, business partnering and budget support to administration functions (Finance, IT, HR). Responsible for establishing the business planning and reporting and functions as a stand-alone company while working with transition team to integrate new reporting capabilities and requirements and partner with the IT organization to develop and ultimately implement the Finance systems roadmap.
