About
I help organisations, leaders and communities turn mental health intentions into real-world outcomes. As Co-Founder of Thrive Ability, I lead the growth of a national wellbeing movement grounded in science, storytelling and systems change. We equip workplaces and communities with the tools to prevent burnout, build capability, and create environments where people truly thrive — not just cope. Our work is grounded in the BEACON framework, an evidence-based model of wellbeing developed in partnership with leading researchers and featured in the documentary How to Thrive — which I produced with support from Screen Australia and VicScreen. The film has become a powerful entry point into deeper wellbeing education, now being used by governments, community services, and workplaces across Australia. With 20+ years in learning design, operations, and creative production, I’ve delivered large-scale programs and campaigns for clients including CSIRO, Transport for NSW, BHP, ANZ, Westpac, and frontline government teams. My background at Beyondedge honed my skills in instructional design, stakeholder engagement, internal comms, and digital storytelling — all of which now inform the way Thrive Ability delivers scalable impact. I bring a rare blend of producer mindset, operational rigour, and values-led leadership — able to navigate complexity while staying deeply human-centred. Whether we’re supporting frontline carers, designing psychosocial safety initiatives for leaders, or embedding wellbeing into whole systems, I’m driven by one core belief: Thriving is a learnable skill — and we can build environments that make it possible. Let’s connect if you're looking to embed practical, evidence-based wellbeing into your team, workplace, or community.

Producer
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
How to Thrive is a feature documentary exploring the science of happiness — and whether it can transform the lives of those experiencing mental health challenges. As Producer, I led the film from concept to completion, overseeing development, funding (Screen Australia, VicScreen, Documentary Australia and Philanthropy), production, and international distribution. The film follows positive psychotherapist Marie McLeod as she supports a group of seven people using interventions grounded in positive psychology, neuroscience and wellbeing science. With unprecedented access, the film offers an intimate and hopeful lens into personal transformation — asking the powerful question: Can happiness be taught? How to Thrive has gone on to win multiple international awards and is now streamed globally (Kanopy) and used as an engagement tool in wellbeing education across community, corporate and government sectors. It continues to fuel conversations about preventative mental health, strength-based support, and the idea that thriving is a learnable skill. Highlights: -Produced a multi-award-winning documentary across 5+ years -Managed complex production and compliance, mental health duty of care, and contributor support -Delivered impact-producing strategy linking film to a national wellbeing education initiative -Secured distribution across Australian cinema chains and global streaming -Selected by festivals and learning platforms worldwide for its emotional depth and evidence-based messaging 🎬 “A powerful, intimate and uplifting film that shifts the conversation on mental health from what’s wrong to what’s possible.”
