The Student Services Manager reports to the Manager, Science Student Centre and supervises a team of staff responsible for the delivery of front line advice, transactional services and support activities to undergraduate students and academic staff of the University.

Responsible for the coordination of reviewing the academic progress of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedicine, Engineering, Environments and Science. Student Adviser for Chancellor's Scholars, very high achieving students, in the above degrees. Contact person for students registered as elite athletes, elite performers, emergency volunteers and defence reservists who require flexibility with their studies given their external commitments. Provision of detailed and accurate advice regarding enrolments, subject selection and course planning to ensure students meet the requirements of their degree.

The Team Leader supervises seven staff members who specialise in providing enrolment-related services to five stakeholder Faculties of the University. Service provision includes delivering correct and accurate processing and expert advice on enrolment, re-enrolment, enrolment cancellation and re-instatement, course completion processing, requisite waivers, enrolment variations, study plan approvals for outbound study abroad and exchange students, academic progress reviews and coordination of advanced standing services for admitted students.

The Graduate Certificate in University Management provides an avenue for prospective and current managers in higher education to develop the professional knowledge and skills that will enable them to work effectively in senior administrative and academic management roles in Australian Universities. The course will prepare graduates for management and leadership roles in Australian universities through a combination of seminars, skill practice, individual and group reflection and project work that relates to the participant's workplaces.
