Andrew Gardner

I have over 30 years' experience advising companies and funds, initially qualifying as a lawyer with Linklaters & Paines, then as an investment banker at Cazenove & Co, Cazenove Inc. (New York), and Credit Suisse First Boston. My experience has covered a wide range of capital raisings and corporate transactions, including IPOs, public and private placements, debt offerings and M&A, both in Europe and in the US. Since 1998 I have focussed primarily on working with fund managers, first at CSFB where I focused on listed investment vehicles before migrating to the private equity sector in 2000 via Campbell Lutyens & Co. Ltd. Immediately prior to the founding of LANCEA in 2005, I managed my own private equity advisory and placement business undertaking both primary fundraisings and secondary fund transactions for established and emerging European, US and Asian private equity fund managers.
