Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics Corporate Restructuring Group Industry Focus: Aerospace and Defense Industrial Manufacturing Consumer Products Technology Leadership role providing performance improvement, turnaround and interim management advisory services. Implemented a number of business and operational improvements at a consumer products company including sales & operations planning (S&OP) a pull system for production and distributor replenishment, operations dashboards, SKU management (rationalized SKUs by ~50%), new product introduction (NPI) stage/gate processes and software, capacity management and shop floor controls. Completed project as interim executive manager for an electronics contract manufacturing Maquiladora to double production to the highest rate in years to build an inventory buffer, and then transfer all programs - mostly to plants in China, transfer and sell off all equipment, remediate the facility and complete all financial, regulatory and data retention requirements.

Working for IO Data Centers, I had transitional responsibility during the spinoff of BASELAYER doing business process definition, improvement, optimization and automation, industrial engineering, and the transition of IT infrastructure including ERP, CRM, end-user computing, desktop, server and network administration and both physical and logical security. This was a temporary role managing the transition of IT and business process infrastructure for BASELAYER's spinoff from IO Data Centers.

Provided executive hands-on leadership for the factory design, production planning, materiel procurement, and steady state operation of the firm’s start-up of modular data center production and delivery. While at IO I designed and implemented the production system that produced over $200MM of data center modules in just 3-1/2 years. Projects included factory setup and 2 factory moves; implementation of an ERP/MRP system for financial reporting, production and procurement planning and execution; implementation of product configuration and quality management systems; and the international expansion of our product and customer footprint from the US to Singapore and the UK. Data-center modules are a revolutionary concept for providing pre-fabricated data center capacity from a world class factory leveraging lean manufacturing, advanced factory systems, and steady-state supply contracts to enable the lowest cost, and most rapid ramp-up of the industry's most reliable data-center operations.
