Cover stories that matter to the people in the community of Anoka County.

I worked with the map partners, usually town tourism agencies, to write about their trails, parks, and other outdoor activities visitors could do. It was all centered around being able to tour an area on your bicycle. I also conducted field research, and edited articles for print and publishing on Wordpress.

I wrote everything from album reviews to daily news articles and the "Introducing..." segment. I wrote out questions and get them sent to the artists. I covered anything that had to do with country music.

I wrote stories for both the the website that was updated daily, and the monthly print issue. I also assigned stories to other writers.

I started out in sales in the Music and Movies department. After a couple weeks I was moved to cashier just before Thanksgiving. It was seasonal employment, I was let go after the holiday season.

I also assisted Allianz Global and Corporate Specialty in renewing and transferring insurance policies from a DOS-based system to a more user friendly one.

I talk to members to find out where they need help in their career as artists. I'm also the social media manager, editor of MidwestCMA News and the monthly email newsletter, and more.
