I'm an individual that is passionate about reading, writing, travel, filming, editing, photography and social media. As the Lead Content Writer and Editor-in-Chief for the Digital Enterprise Management Society's monthly, online magazine "The Outlet", my team and I aim to publish posts, articles, interviews and short stories that are both relevant and engaging. The magazine covers themes that pertain to, but are not limited towards Business, Technology, Design, and Media.

* Provided support to the Human Resources Department with the following duties: * Trained Managers and Coordinators on how to complete annual performance appraisals. * Assisted the HR Officer with Onboarding by drafting employment agreements, conducting reference checks and assisting in orientations. * Completed payroll duties including end-to-end processing company payroll, inputting data from timesheets, and updated payroll records. * Completed monthly workplace Health and Safety inspections. * Performed auditing duties related to completion of AODA and Bill 132 training.

Providing checkout service to customers and completing Point-of-Sale Transactions. Also assisted with bagging orders, conducting price checks and searching for desired products. During times of slow traffic, I assisted the grocery and dairy department by stocking shelves and preventing shrink. This was done to maintain cleanliness and organization in said departments.

At Marina Boy Entertainment, I covered and provided relevant, up-to-date news in the film and TV industry by writing short articles around 200-500 words. I also written thorough film reviews whenever possible. Articles that were written were properly sourced and promoted via Social Media (Facebook, Twitter) to reach publication's targeted audience.

At UTM/TV, I wrote and edited screenplays, helped organize principal photography shoots, and acted in short, creative skits.

As the Administrative Assistant, I conducted weekly research on international film festivals and the film titles selected for screening. I assisted the General Manager with contacting directors and filmmakers in regards to film screeners, availability of rights and acquisition inquiries. I also successfully re-established a social media presence on the company's Facebook and Twitter accounts, while also overlook brief digital marketing campaigns to promote certain films. Lastly, I assisted with sending contracts to filmmakers for the potential acquisition and distribution of their films.

As the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, I coordinated the online promotion of Short Films and Documentary Features distributed by Ouat Media via Twitter, Facebook, etc. I performed daily updates on the company's social media threads with current news and trends taking place in the Film industry. Moreover, I communicated and worked alongside directors, producers and other personnel in regards to social media marketing strategies and techniques for short films released over the summer of 2013. Finally, conducted daily research on the performance of films at the iTunes Box Office and performed day-to-day tracking of social media posts.

* Loblaw Companies Limited has given me the exciting opportunity to pursue and explore the field of Human Resources and Recruiting at store level, where I am able to seek out aspiring individuals in search of a part-time career with the company. Having a keen interest in Human Resources, I have been able to coordinate the recruitment process for hiring candidates for my store and assist Department Managers in searching for like-minded individuals who strive to make a difference and positive impact at store-level. My duties include the following: * Reviewing applicants'​ resumes. * Conducting both phone interviews and in-person interviews. * Attending Company Job Fairs in search of applicants for various Loblaws' stores across the Greater Toronto Area and ensuring they meet all company expectations and requirements in the interview process. * Processing new hire forms for Head Office submission * Organize and host weekly store orientations while ensuring they are completed within 4 hours.
