Andrew is the Founder and CEO of Plastics For Change, a social enterprise transforming discarded plastic into high-quality, Fair-Trade Verified recycled materials. The responsible sourcing platform informal waste collectors with global brands like L’Oréal and The Body Shop, enabling them to replace virgin plastic with ethically sourced recycled plastic. This initiative is all about improving the livelihoods for the ultra-poor and preventing plastic from entering the ocean. Under Andrew’s leadership, Plastics For Change has expanded operations across 12 geographies in India and the Philippines. Since introducing the world’s first Fair-Trade Certified recycled plastic in 2019, the organization has recycled over 40,000 tonnes of material. Committed to transparent and ethical practices, Plastics For Change holds multiple third-party certifications—including Social Plus, OBP, GRS, EN 15343, REACH, SEDEX, and B Corp—to validate its social and environmental impact. Leveraging AI and data-driven insights, Andrew’s mission-led approach continuously drives meaningful change in waste management, economic empowerment, and ocean conservation worldwide

As the TA for BMG 214 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship: New Venture Creation ) I helped students to examine the entrepreneurial process from conception to the implementation of a new venture. I assisted in the evaluation process to help students develop the attributes of successful entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial teams, on their search for and assessment of opportunities and on gathering of resources to convert opportunities into businesses.
