Hospital Preparedness Program Coordinator for a three-hospital service area in the Los Angeles County area including Providence St. Joseph which is the Los Angeles County designated DRC (Disaster Resource Center) for region 10 (Glendale, Burbank, and the south end of the San Fernando Valley). My primary areas of responsibility are Providence Cedars Sinai Tarzana. Providence Holy Cross (a level II Trauma Center) and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center (a Los Angeles County Designated Disaster Resource Center), but I am also responsible for assisting with Disaster Preparedness activities and training throughout my DRC Region. I have coordinated several large exercises with multiple agencies including local Fire, Law Enforcement, Army National Guard, Army and Air Force Reserve, and multiple other hospitals in our region. I have helped to develop a clinically focused Decon and Mass Casualty training program that is taught at all three Providence Hospitals. I am also a Threat Liaison Officer (TLO) through the Los Angeles County JRIC, a licensed amateur radio operator (Technician), a Stop the Bleed Instructor, an instructor for the Los Angeles County Hospital Disaster Management Training (HDMT) program, and a former trainer with the LAPD Run, Hide, Fight program, as well being the former Lead AVADE/Workplace Violence Instructor for Providence Saint Joseph. I was recently named the Mission Spirit Award Recipient for February 2021 and was a Providence Values in Action recipient in 2024..
