* Employed as an E and I Technician under Bechtel ‘s ICSU team, I was involved in the Commissioning and Start up of the GTGs in the OSBL area, and maintaining the daily running of permanent power to the Wheatstone Plant. Duties: * Loop checks, Fault diagnosis and rectification works. * First Crank and First fire on Gas Turbine Generators(GTGs). First Crank on Gas Turbine Compressors(GTCs). * Part of Maintenance team providing Care Custody and transfer of GTG 1 and 2 to Phase 5 Chevron. * Function testing, cause and effect testing with GE Mark VI Turbine control system and SIS system. * Vibration monitoring with Bentley Nevada 3500 on GE LM6000 turbines * Fire and Gas testing with Yokogawa DCS Site management system. * Loop checks for Fieldbus valves and transmitters. * Function testing of stand alone vendor skids PLC driven, diesel generators and Compressors for instrument air. * Secondary injection testing of Generators driven by GTGs. * Permit requester, Single point Isolation/Tagging Authority authorized

* As an Industrial Electrician I was involved in the construction, QA, and pre-commissioning of the new construction fit out of the process area affected by the 2011 floods, two new Substations, and improving the plant’s flood resilience by raising all electrical apparatus above the 2011 flood levels. Duties: * Loop checks of flow meters, level, pressure, analyser transmitters, etc. * QA of construction works on bio reactors, UV building, digesters, bio solids and substation fit out. * Assisting Controls Engineers in function testing

* Employed as a Commissioning Electrician by RCR I was part of an extra workforce formed to ensure the delivery of two of the five conveyor systems at the Roy Hill Mine. In this role I worked on a commissioning crew responsible for the handover of substations, reclaimer, lump stacker and conveyor systems. Duties: * Commissioning of UPS, HV, HVAC, light and small power and VSD systems. * QA/Punch list items for rectification. * Safety observer for RMU and Sub Galpag/ABB/Siemens switching programs.

* Employed as a Commissioning and Start up Electrician at APLNG my experience increased working as part of the pre-commissioning crew and later progressing to supplementing Bechtel’s commissioning and start up crew. Duties: * General construction works on gas turbine generators, substations, flares, marine terminal building, jetty loading arms facility, control room facility and Train 1. * Pre-commissioning work of VSDs, motors, UPS/battery banks of OSBL substation, power and lighting, HVAC, 415V/240V/control bus and earthing ring in substations. * Interpret single line diagrams, electrical/mechanical schematics and PID drawings, control and protection drawings of electrical equipment and auxiliaries. * Conduct site acceptance testing of OSBL area. * Complete systems paperwork for handover to client, including inspection test records. * Function testing of OSBL area/commissioning areas. * HA inspection sheets.

* Due to the scope of this project and KSJV’s involvement in the construction of the OSBL area for handover to Bechtel I expanded my CSG experience to include the final offloading process facility. Duties: * General construction works on Gas Turbine Generators, Sub stations, Flares, Marine Terminal Building, Jetty loading arms facility, Control Room facility, Train 1. * Control Panel wiring for GTGs. * Install and terminate apparatus in zoned area of OSBL.

Infantry Soldier/Intelligence Operator/Supervisor Jan 2003 – Dec 2009 Australian Army As a soldier serving in the Australian Army, I deployed on operational service, and undertook command and leadership courses, calling upon my hardworking nature to complete tasks under duress. I learnt the importance of team work and looking out for others, to create a harmonious work environment. The life experience I gained has set me in good stead to continue learning, improving and challenging myself in new pursuits. Duties: Held supervisor role in charge of a team of eight personnel, responsible for all administration, command and execution of the team’s tasks. Instructed soldiers in their mandatory training at individual and group levels. Acted as safety Supervisor for all category live firing ranges. Instructed soldiers prior to being deemed fit for deployment to East Timor.

* Employed as an E and I Technician for MMG, I am involved in the Commissioning and Start up of the Processing Plant for the Dugald river Underground Zinc Mine, and provide relief support to Day shift Maintenance team. Duties: * Loop checks, Fault diagnosis and rectification works. * Wet Commissioning of Sag and Ball Mills, Zinc/Lead Filter Skids, Crusher, Roughers, conveyors, float separation process. * Relief roles with Day shift Maintenance team.
