Early engineering manager in Netflix’s Ads org, initially owning key areas of Campaign Management and foundational Platform work. As of July 2025, I lead three teams across Media Planning, Campaign Management, and Ads on Live Events. Also involved in key working group driving the adoption of Generative AI across our ads workflows, enabling faster developer productivity, rapid prototyping, and intelligent user-facing tools for planning and campaign troubleshooting.

Senior engineering manager and product leader with a multi-disciplinary org (50+) focused on empowering advertisers to effectively reach their programmactic ad spend goals with Amazon DSP. This includes features from campaign set up through to troubleshooting underperforming ads and generally increasing the usability of ADSP. Leading multiple teams of engineers building critical functionality for advertisers to manage their display advertising campaigns on Amazon's DSP (Demand Side Platform). We own the core creation and editing experience for advertising campaigns as well as a suite of tools allowing our customers to effectively troubleshoot underdelivery issues. The orginization is full stack and works across Java, React, and Typescript leverging many various AWS technologies.

Leading a team of software engineers building applications to provide transparency to senior management across the company into where engineering resources are being spent. As Bloomberg adopted Agile, it was very easy for individual developers and team leads to see what their current and upcoming priorities were. However, senior managers struggled to put together useful dashboards to show their entire department's current and future work, as well as any possible road blocks. They also wanted to be able to see reporting on past work completed on a group by group, as well as company wide, view. We are integrating with JIRA, Confluence, and in-house tools to provide meaningful visualizations to management without requiring any extra overhead from developers and team leads.

Leading a team of engineers in designing and implementing Bloomberg's customer service live chat application (ADSK). We also build and maintain all of the scheduling tools and dashboards for managers to monitor their team's performance as well as ensure there will be enough reps to support the clients demands.

Writing financial software applications for Bloomberg LP. Work includes updating legacy applications to use modern practices to increase reliability and efficiency as well as creating new products to improve the workflow of clients. C, C++, SQL, Javascript, and jQuery are the languages I work in on a daily basis. I also work with a proprietary framework interface to write Javascript web apps that run on both Android and iPhone. Trained by industry experts in C++ and proprietary technologies.

I was an intern at Pax River Naval Base for 3 summers. The first summer I worked on submarine software and the past two summers were with the F/A-18 Mission Systems Test group. I worked on the first software at this location to analyze post flight fiber optic data. Also was involved in the selection of a contractor to complete new projects involving a solid state storage system.

I started as a dock hand and just doing little things around the tackle shop. Each year I gained a little more responsibility and when I left I was in charge of shifts at the tackle shop.
