One of my passions is patient education. I feel that there is a lot of information out there and many times it’s too overwhelming for patients or they just don’t know where to go. I started this blog to help educate patients about kidney disease, the role of inflammation, and how to slow down kidney disease progression.

My name is Andrew Kowalski, MD, FASN and I am a board certified internist, nephrologist and interventional nephrologist. My practice focuses primarily on kidney disease management with an emphasis to slow progression, curb inflammation and preserve muscle mass to augment dysregulated inflammation and increase life span and health span.
