Managing supplier relationships, undertaking market and contract reviews and implementing new contracts across the organization. Managing peers, leading procurement projects and delegating to team members project responsibilities and tasks as appropriate to meet strict deadlines. Developing Procurement strategies which identify opportunities, synergies and process improvements across business units - focusing attention on a one company one way methodology. Initiating and leading teams on key Procurement projects and preparing project plans which support and contribute the procurement savings targets directed by corporate strategy.

Meet or exceed the Key Productivity Indicators for productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. Maintain accurate inventory levels and deliveries. Recommended and implemented continuous improvement processes and procedures to maximize production output. Employ database and statistical programs to compile data, analyze, and take action to increase throughput. Supervise, schedule, and manage a daily workforce of over 45 people to effectively produce multiple products on various manufacturing flow lines.

Responsible for commercial negotiation on CapEx and internal equipment purchases. MRO/Indirect sourcing from distributors. Direct commodity manager for grey iron and green sand casting components, packaging, and machined sourced components for commercial compressors. Accumulated information on items to be procured from requisitions,specifications, and other customer requirements. Negotiated commercial terms for sourced commodities while avoiding or minimizing potential interruptions in the supply chain.

Purchasing/Third party sourcing of fabrication & repair of flaps, rotatory, and trailing edge wing components on NAS/MAS aircraft. Cost down projects for reverse thrusters on military jet aircraft - worked alongside A&P team members at FAA repair station for commercial aircraft. Experience with AS9100 standard and other aerospace quality systems for both national and military grade aircraft.
