Delivers consistent service quality throughout the claim life cycle, including but not limited to prompt contact, explaining the process, setting expectations, on-going effective communication, follow-through and meeting commitments to achieve optimal outcome on every file. Proficient and trained in utilizing Xactimate 28 estimating software. Interprets policy language and thoroughly explaining the contracts to my customers. Contacts insureds promptly in order to review/explain policy coverage's and schedule inspections. Conducts field based investigations by visiting policyholders’ homes to investigate property damage including but not limited to climbing on and inspecting roofs, inspecting attics, and crawl spaces. Uses claims handling software, a company car, laptop, and digital camera to determine claims related damage and write estimates in a paperless environment. Uses strong customer service skills to negotiate with policyholders, contractor's, public adjusters, and vendors to settle the claim.
