Installed, serviced, and repaired automated assembly equipment at numerous customer sites worldwide. Worked closely with sales engineers to help determine equipment required by customer in order to complete project. Performed process audits and product evaluations to directly improve customer product quality and efficiency. Responsible for assembling and testing equipment and software during new product development both at the company manufacturing facility and in the field.

Responsible for the installation, service, and repair of automated assembly equipment at numerous customer sites throughout North America. Provided training to customers on utilization and maintenance of equipment. Achieved proficiency in radial and axial technologies as well as surface mount equipment.

Attended training on maintenance, calibration, and programming of variety of equipment including placement machines, screen printers, ovens and board handling equipment. Installed, provided support and maintained production lines. Gained experience in surface mount manufacturing processes and worked closely with manufacturing engineer during introduction of new cellular phone projects.

Program and perform prototype runs of new products on all equipment in production line to include screen printing, surface mount, reflow ovens, odd-form insertion, selective solder, and conformal coating machines. Work to develop, implement and maintain custom machinery to assemble products. Responsible for optimization of machine programs to reduce cycle times and increase productivity. Responsible for developing operational and troubleshooting work instructions for custom machinery. Assist with managing operations of manufacturing facility and support personnel.
