Since I have started playing football in high school I have become fascinated on how the human body can achieve unthinkable athletic ability. That has led me to where I am today. As a Student at DePauw University in Greencastle Indiana I am a Kinesiology major looking to further my knowledge on who the human body can work and how it can adapt to change from training or in game/competition situations. Along with pursuing a degree in Kinesiology I am also pursuing my NASM(National Academy of Sports Medicine) certification. My goal in life is to help other to achieve the best version of themselves, whether that be in athletics or just personal goals.

During this internship my duties differed from day to day. Tasks that I would complete would include leading four different types of exercise classes for different age groups ranging 15-80 years old, working with athletes to put them through functional training, write workout plans for different clients which include athletes and senior clients, and help out with personal training. Also during my time at Fitness Premier I also helped out with day to day operations. I would answer the phone, sign people up for memberships, show people how to use the exercise machines, and make sure the gym was clean and well maintained.

We were also tasked with the job of making sure that the people who were using the attractions were safe. Also, we were in charge of making sure the overall facilities were in good shape and that everything was cleaned.

Throughout my years of playing I have learned that in order to succeed you need to do the little things right.
